Description
Our 5mm steel welded chain is a medium-weight chain which is perfect for uses including security, hanging signs / lights / other objects. The short-link chain (5mm x 21mm) has a shorter link length, and so a smaller gap between links. Given that there is more steel in a short-link chain, it is heavier than the long-link option.
This is a commercial chain, and so it is not suitable for lifting, climbing, load binding or towing applications. The chain is not tested, and so is not supplied with a test certificate, however the maximum recommended working load is 125kg (please note that this is provided as a guideline only).
The chain has a Bright Zinc Plated finish to protect against rusting, and is ideal for indoor applications or where a smooth, shinier finish is required. For long lasting outdoor rust resistance we would recommend using our 5mm Hot Dipped Galvanised finish chain.

Delivery Information
Deliveries are usually made between 8.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday excluding public and bank holidays. During busy periods our couriers may deliver up to 9:00 p.m.
