Carbine hooks, also known as snap hooks, are ideal for connecting chain, or fixing chain to anchor points. The hook is spring loaded, to allow the fitting to be easily attached and detatched. This is perfect for uses where the chain needs to be detatched regularly.
We would suggest matching the fitting size to the size of the chain, or even going up one size on the fitting i.e. if you have a 5mm chain, you should select either a 5mm or 6mm fitting.
This fitting is made from Grade 316 Stainless Steel, also known as Marine Grade, and offers the highest level of protection against rusting.
Our carbine hooks are a commercial fixing, and are not tested to a certified weight. The fitting is suitable for hanging, but is not suitable for overhead lifting, load binding or towing applications.

Delivery Information
Deliveries are usually made between 8.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday excluding public and bank holidays. During busy periods our couriers may deliver up to 9:00 p.m.
Weights indicated throughout this website are a combination of actual weights and volumetric weights and so are for calculating shipping costs only they do not necessarily represent the actual weights of products shown.
